Day 1

EMBARKATION – BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

Step into the elegance of the AmaRudi and begin your Danube journey in beautiful Budapest. Unpack, relax, and savor your first evening onboard as you prepare for an unforgettable adventure ahead.

Day 2

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

Explore the beauty of Buda and the energy of Pest. Discover both sides of Budapest, beginning with the storybook charm of Buda’s Castle District, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matthias Church. Then cross to lively Pest to admire the Hungarian Parliament Building, Heroes’ Square, and the poignant “Shoes on the Danube Bank,” immersing yourself fully in this iconic European capital.

Day 3

BRATISLAVIA, SLOVAKIA

A royal past and local Slovak flavors

Uncover Bratislava’s regal history on a walking tour through its Coronation City streets, or savor a deeper connection through a special “Tastes of Slovakia” culinary experience. For sweeping views, choose an invigorating hike to the city’s hilltop castle. (B,L,D)

Day 4

VIENNA, AUSTRIA

Palaces, cathedrals, and timeless elegance

Experience Vienna’s cultural splendor as you tour its grand boulevards, iconic opera house, and historic center crowned by St. Stephen’s Cathedral. In the afternoon, wander through the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens for an intimate look at Habsburg imperial life.

Day 5

KREMS AN DER DONAU, AUSTRIA

Baroque villages, hilltop abbeys, and renowned wines. Spend the morning among Dürnstein’s pastel-blue church tower, charming lanes, and apricot delicacies before exploring the Wachau by foot or bike. Later, visit the stunning Melk Abbey and end the day with an exclusive tasting of the region’s celebrated Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
