Pricing:


  • $1,279CAD per person based on double share (1 bed)  SOLD OUT
  • $1,289CAD per person based on twin share (2 beds)  ONE TWIN ROOM AVAILABLE - ONE SPOT ONLY
  • $1,729CAD per person based on single share   SOLD OUT


  • Triple and Quad Share room - pricing on request


Our preferred method of payment is by credit card.  A secure digital credit card authorisation form is required for all credit card payments.  We also accept Cheque and E-Transfers (additional instructions for these forms of payment will be provided upon request).  Solo travellers who wish to share a room with another solo traveller (twin room) will be paired with another solo traveller who also wishes to share with another solo traveller.  If you are a solo traveller and we are unable to match you with another solo traveller, you will be responsible for paying the single share rate.



Deposit Required to Secure your Seat:


Initial non-refundable deposit of $500CAD per person is due at time of registration.

Final payment of balance will be due by no later than 20 July 2023.



Cancellation Policy for this Rhinebeck Roadtrip 2023:


  • Cancellations made by 19 July 2023 or earlier - loss of non-refundable deposit
  • Cancellations made on 20 July 2023 or later - 100% non-refundable

NOTE:  All cancellations must be received in writing.  Cancellations received on Saturdays, Sundays or on Public Holidays will be considered received on next business day and actioned on next business day.


Inclusions:


• 4 Day/3 Night Rhinebeck 2023 Roadtrip hosted by Lesley Snyder from Rosehaven Yarn Shop, Prince Edward County & Michelle Streicher from South Pacific Journeys, Eastern Ontario.

• Pick-up & drop-off from one central location in Belleville and one central location in Kingston.

• Group coach transportation to Saugerties/Rhinebeck and Kingston, New York areas

• 3 nights hotel accommodation in 3.5 star hotel in Ploughkeepsie, New York including breakfast daily

• Entry into New York State Sheep & Wool, Indie Untangled, Cake Palooza and Wool & Folk festivals

• Group Lunch stop in Utica, New York in each direction – lunch at own expense

• Group Dinner stop in Ploughkeepsie – dinner at own expense

• Wine tasting experience 



Exclusions:


• Items of a personal nature (phone calls, duties on purchases upon return to Canada etc)

• Meals & beverages

• Tips & Gratuities – suggested gratuity for the driver is $5 CAD per person per day

• Hotel Porterage

• Travel & Medical Insurance – Out of Country Emergency Medical required 

• Passport related fees

• Any fees related to possible COVID-19 testing

• Any unforeseen increase in local/government taxes or Fuel Surcharges

• Any other items not specified as being included in itinerary




Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption & Out of Country Emergency Medical Insurance Coverage:


South Pacific Journeys requires that all participants be adequately covered for Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption and Emergency Out of Country Medical. 

South Pacific Journeys offers Manulife Travel Insurance.  Manulife's Cancel for Any Reason coverage will only be included in their Premium Protection Plan IF policy is purchased within 72 hours of booking tour seat on this retreat.  Some restrictions apply.



Passports:


Canadian citizens require a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond expected return date.  Canadian citizens do not currently require a visa to enter the United Kingdom. South Pacific Journeys or its agents assume no responsibility for participants not presenting the required documentation to enter the United Kingdom



Travel Agent's Responsibility:


South Pacific Journeys and Vision Travel Solutions and/or their agents, act as agents for the clients in matters pertaining to travel.  They assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error or omission, or any injury, loss accident, delay or irregularity engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued.  In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for alterations to be made to itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes.  Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne. by the passengers.  The Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event, during the time passengers are not on sole contract between the Airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger.  The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline or accept or retain any passengers as members of the tour.  South Pacific Journeys or agent can assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.  South Pacific Journeys shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or act of restraints imposed by government authorities (such as lockdowns due to pandemics).  In the event the foreign currency exchange rate increases by more than 7%, South Pacific Journeys reserves the right to pass on this increased cost to each participant.  This is in accordance with current TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario) regulations.
