Join us as we travel to a land rich in landscape, heritage and culture.  With a hundred scattered islands that make up the Shetlands, we will visit Shetland, Unst, Yell, Burra, and Brassey Islands dotted with ruins of old croft houses and of course, heaps of sheep.

We will learn knitting techniques from top Scottish tutors both in Edinburgh and Shetland.

We will engage with resident artists inspired by their environment, culture and indigenous materials. We will visit an organic sheep farm that produces yarn from their native Shetland sheep.  We'll visit lighthouses, archaeological digs and some beautiful beaches.  If you are a fan of the 'Shetland' series, you will not be disappointed as there are filming locations every which way you look.
